Do ARs allow you to personalise the DM by including the recipients name in it?

This is right on time. I was just debating whether or not I should start using an Auto-Response and am in the process of taking a look at TweetLater. Right now I'm in the process of figuring out the best uses of their 'Rotate' message features.

Anybody using the premium services?

DMs are totally fine, its when you set up a bad auto-response that you might have a problem. And as for the retweet, there aint no problems there! ha Retweeting posts you like is a great way to share what you like with your followers and also say thanks to the tweet writer, so thankyou for the RT, I appreciate it :)

OK, somebody (you, actually) became my 7th follower on Twitter yesterday. I have no idea how you found me (I'm not exactly well publicized) and I sent a DM asking. Was that wrong? Bad etiquette? Would it have been OK had I personalized it so that it didn't look automated? With 7 followers, I don't really need or use automation. I first retweeted one of your posts, as a goodwill gesture, and because I thought it was a good post. What's your advice for the future?
Thanks
